As expected, announcement of today's class suspension came in just as I had finished showering. Ah, well. At least I didn't find out the hard way, arriving at school soaked with rainwater to find no one there. I do regret not having rolled back to sleep, though, all warm and cozy in bed.

Wew, I underestimated how much school would tucker me out. Was planning on making a back-to-school entry on the first day, but I've yet to wean myself of all the time-consuming habits I've acquired during summer. Thank goodness it's a long weekend.
